Important notes you need to know when travelling
It is important to pre-plan for a holiday whether a safari or beach holiday. This is important such that you prepare yourself and family for the eventful day. Do some research on your behalf on weather,security,political effects to avoid disruptions.
For clients who are flying or using train it’s important to make sure you counter check all your official documents with you, take the necessary vaccination (chickenpox, Covid-19 MMR, Flu Shot, Polio, Tetanus vaccine, yellow fever) as applicable as well as travel & health insurance for emergencies.
BAGS
It is important to pack what you need with consideration for what you might buy on your trip. It is important to let your family/friends/employer know of your travel arrangements.
VISA
Visa requirements for different countries may change from time to time. It is advisable that you confirm with your travel agent or directly with destination country’s Embassy or High Commission or Consulate before booking a holiday.
Passport
While you plan on travelling check your passport validity and renewal dates early before you make any plans.
Insurance

Self-check-in is free, simple & quick! It will save you and your travelling group time at airport! Otherwise, counter check-in opens 3 hours Check-in deadlines may vary at different airports and in different countries and for particular flights. Airport has long queues due to complex security checks and scrutiny put in place to safeguard the security of each traveler. We recommend that you check-in early and proceed immediately to the departure gate to avoid risk being left behind in security.
It is important also to confirm with your agent on all those items which could be prohibited at airport/train station such as alcohol, perfumes ,large volume of cash etc to avoid disappointment.
When you are overseas/ holiday destination, keep in touch with your family and update them on your stay ,health and general experience all through. Keep your travel documents and luggage secure and under lock always.
For clients travelling in foreign countries, we advise you make your safety your priority by avoiding unnecessary visit in arears you don’t know or not recommended by your travel agent.
We recommend that you keep track of your valuables while on safari or holiday as well as your flight/train/bus ticket timings and any possible time change or cancellation or delays.
Do not forget to remind your close relatives/ friends of your travelling and when your return and make arrangements for an airport/station pick up.
Make sure you are at the airport/terminus at least two hours earlier to avoid missing your flight/train/bus.
