Amboseli National Park covers a 392 km² Area. It is the best place in the world to get close to free-ranging elephants. This park has the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. It is a perfect place to meet with the Maasai people and visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture, dances and survival technic. Apart from the elephants, Amboseli is home to wildlife including hippo, hyena, wildebeest, lion among other animals.

The park has a robust bird fauna, there are about 400 bird species that have been recorded, this includes over 40 birds of prey

The lodge is located along the border of Amboseli National Park right next to Kimana Gate.
