Kibo Safari Camp lies within the Amboseli National Reserve with splendid views of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.
Amboseli, meaning “salty dust” in maa, the language of the Maasai, is a place of stark contrast. The park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery the park is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Kibo Safari Camp has 73 self-contained tents for single, double, triple and family accommodation. The beds have been custom designed and locally made using bush logs and will ensure a good night’s sleep! All tents have flush toilets, showers, and wash basins. You can enjoy your shower as you like: bubbling hot or refreshing cold. For the duration of your stay in the African bush, Kibo Safari Camp will be your home away from home!

AMBOSELI-NAIROBI
We bid the African home of elephant territory farewell as we have our last glance at Kilimanjaro and go through the wilderness. Enjoy the hills nearby overlooking the plains as we escalate up to Kenya capital Nairobi arriving in time for lunch (self-sponsored). This marks the end of your 3 days safari to the home of Africa elephants Amboseli National Park. Meals: Breakfast
FULL DAY EXCURSION
Rise and shine for a morning game drive as you witness the bare cloudless summit of the Kilimanjaro. The Rolling plains will ease you’re spotting of the many elephants heard and other wildlife. After breakfast, spend the day in the park with a packed lunch in search of the park’s most famous occupants, such as the well-known predators and their adversaries, the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippo, with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. An optional village visit to the Maa community for an experience and interaction with the Masai culture. Proceed for an evening game drive and back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. NAIROBI-AMBOSELI
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/home in the morning and travel to Amboseli National Park, which is known for its grandeur, which includes a background of snow-capped majestic Mount Kilimanjaro and wide grasslands. It takes approximately 4 hours by road from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park and 35 minutes by air. Check in to Kibo deluxe tented camp in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, there will be a game drive in the park which you might spot the big 5. Meals: Lunch & Dinner
