Jambo Mara Safari Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Lodge is located within Maasai Mara National reserve, 11KM away from the Sekenani Gate which is the main gate of Maasai Mara National reserve; 20KM away from the keekorok airstrip; 220KM away from Nairobi.
The lodge is located at the heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in a jungle surrounded by two streams which is also one of the important water sources of Maasai Mara National reserve. The place is rich with an abundance of indigenous wildlife.
The Lodge boasts 108 cottages (50 wooden cottage cabins, 55 deluxe glass cottages, 2 business suites and 1 presidential suite), each of which enjoys a spacious en-suite bathroom which equipped with showers, hand wash basins, flush toilets and a private terrace where you can relax and let pass by your impressions collected during an eventful day on safari. All rooms have a separate balcony with views.
We are a green carbon-free lodge which was built by Environmental protection materials. All energy supplies are provided by solar energy. There is no need for external electricity supply and other carbon-emitting energy such as diesel. We provide 24 hours electricity, 24-hour flow of hot water and clean water that meets WHO standards.
We provide guests with the most modern facilities, spacious and luxurious and comfortable rooms which is the best in Maasai Mara National Reserve. The beddings in all the rooms meet international five-star standards to ensure clean and comfortable.
Camp is well equipped for business travelers with Private meeting rooms, conference facilities that can hold up to 300 guests. we have purchased satellite channels to providing smooth WIFI services and ensure that guests can be contacted.

NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA
This is a short safari featuring Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Safari departs Nairobi in the morning and involves a drive down to the the floor of the Rift Valley, making a stop at viewpoint to see the escarpment and the awesome sight of the valley. To arrive Maasai Mara in time for lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive that introduces you to Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. Our clients are picked from their residential homes or hotel/Airport for the Mara trip Safari. Approximate drive time from Nairobi to the Mara takes approximately 5hrs with a stop-over along Mai mahiu Escarpment & Narok town before making entry to the Masai Mara National Reserve. (Pay entry fees at the entrance gate). Check-in time is normally with lunch on the first day before afternoon game drive in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals after which get back to the camp for evening dinner, refreshments plus other room services as per the camp. FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game National Reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end of September, zebra, impala, Topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino is a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are dominant in the Mara River as are Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait to ambush as the wildebeest cross on their annual expeditions to find new pastures, mate. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives.
